MAMA'S FAVORITE MICHIGAN FICTION

I just love reading "place-books" before I take trips. There's something so fun about reading a book that takes place where you want to adventure. As much as I love the idea of reading on trips, as a busy Mama who wants to be active and present with my children (ever day, but especially) on vacation, there just isn't time, and by the end of the day I am often too tired to read. So, I love to read my "place-books" while I PLAN our vacations. And I also LOVE when they inspire places new places we want to go. These books are so fun to read before or after traveling to Michigan! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. And for fun, a Lake Michigan cookbook for you to try when you return home.
